- To rent a vehicle, you need to be in possession of a 3 years or older valid driver’s license, passport or identity document.
- What documents do I need to rent a CarsAtCall vehicle?
- CarsAtCall only rents vehicles to people over the age of 21.
- I am under the age of 23. Can I rent a vehicle from CarsAtCall?
- Renters can freely drive their budget car hire National vehicles around South Africa. You can travel to Botswana, Mozambique and Namibia prior arrangements and Documentation.
- To which neighboring countries am I allowed to drive my rental vehicle?
- Unlike most other car rental companies, we do not charge a no-show fee. We do charge a refundable reservation fee after collection and return of the vehicle.
- Do you charge a no-show fee?
- Yes. The card holder and the primary driver must be the same person.
- Only the primary driver can load an extra driver onto the contract. This must be done in person at the rental office with both persons present. Should you wish to add a second driver there will be a fee of R280.
- Can anyone else drive the vehicle I have hired?
- Child safety seats are R300 each for the duration of the rental period.

- GPS units can be arranged at a fee of R85p/d, subject to availability.
